Maxwell E. Carlson, CFA, CPA (Inactive) is Senior Portfolio Manager at A Smarter Way to Invest. He holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration with dual majors in Finance and Accounting from Eastern Michigan University. Maxwell began his career in public accounting, earning his CPA and working at Plante & Moran, PLLC, before joining the firm in 2020. Maxwell later earned the CFA® Charterholder designation and leads portfolio management with a disciplined, risk-focused approach.
